Site work and new construction of a water / sewer project in Montrose, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project consists of constructing a new S.R. 706 Pump Station near MH-35 of the existing Montrose sewer network. The purpose is to divert flow from the Southeastern Quadrant of the sewer directly to the Montrose Wastewater Treatment Plant. The station will be equipped with a wet well, valve/meter chamber, bypass connections, backup generator, control building, associated controls, and appurtenances. A new force main will be installed to carry the flow uphill to a new gravity sewer along Park Street, which will tie into the existing sewer line along Hawley Road. The work is divided into two contracts: Contract No.1 Structural/Mechanical Work and Contract No.2 Electrical Work.
