The City of Maricopa seeks to engage a qualified Construction Manager at Risk (CM@R) firm or team to provide Pre-Construction Services and to deliver a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) for Construction Services as the CM@R for CIP Project No. 38105, SR 238 Widening (SR 347 to 2.25 Miles West). The project is located on SR 238, extending from the intersection of SR 347 and Smith-Enke Road to the western city limits. The project scope includes adding one lane in each direction for approximately 1.89 miles, pavement reconstruction for the westernmost 2,000 feet, constructing curb, gutter, and sidewalks, installing traffic signals at specific intersections, installing future traffic signals, installing drainage channels, coordination with state and private entities for MSIDD canal abandoning, acquiring Right of Way, drainage easements, and temporary construction easements, undergrounding electrical lines with joint trench coordination, coordinating with utility companies to resolve conflicts, and coordinating with ED3 regarding substation installation.
