Renovation of a municipal facility in Georgetown, Delaware. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
The project involves the selective demolition of interior building systems and components. Selective demolition includes, but is not limited to, the removal of all non-bearing walls, all floor finishes, all ceilings, all interior doors and frames, select mechanical, electrical and plumbing fixtures and systems as indicated on the drawings. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid security equivalent to ten percent of the bid amount and all additive alternates. The successful bidder must post a performance bond and payment bond in a sum equal to 100 percent of the contract price upon execution of the contract. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein. The Owner may extend the time and place for the opening of the bids from that described in the advertisement, with not lessthan two calendar days' notice by certified delivery, facsimile machine or other electronic means to those bidders' receiving plans. Event Pre-bid meeting Notes : All attendees will be allowed to walk through the existing building after the Pre-Bid meeting has concluded. Questions regarding the bid documents will be received until 4:00 p.m. on April 15, 2026.
