Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Mount Rainier, Maryland. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Phase II of the Perry Street and 31st Street intersection redesign consists of installation of three stormwater treatment practices, including two micro-bioretention facilities on the north side of Perry Street and one conservation landscaping bump-out on the south side of Perry Street. The micro-bioretention facilities include Silva Cell extended storage systems beneath adjacent sidewalks and Parjana Iris infiltration units to enhance performance in low-permeability soils. The project also includes pavement restoration beyond the Phase I limits, in-kind sidewalk replacement and repaving (with Flexi-Pave retained adjacent to an existing tree), and installation of a traffic bollard for traffic calming Questions should be sent to cgriffith@lidcenter.org and citymanager@mountrainiermd.org Subject: Questions City of Mount Rainier Phase II 31st Street and Perry Street Project by Monday, March 23. Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid The City may make such investigation as it deems necessary to determine the ability of the Bidder to furnish the services and the Bidder shall furnish to the City all such information and data for this purpose that the City may request. The City reserves the right to reject any bid if the evidence submitted by the Bidder or an investigation of such Bidder fails to satisfy the City that such Bidder is properly qualified to carry out the obligations of the Contract.
