Site work and paving for a road / highway in Chester Heights, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Sealed bids are solicited for a road project involving asphalt milling, superpave wearing course installation, superpave base repair, asphalt leveling, and appurtenant work. The project is subject to prevailing wage rates as specified by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Prospective bidders must be pre-qualified with PENNDOT according to Section 102.01 of PENNDOT Publication 408 – Specifications, latest edition. Liquidated damages are assessed at $885.00 per calendar day. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of at least ten percent of the bid and must be submitted unconditionally. The Owners reserve the right to waive informalities or reject any or all bids. No bid may be withdrawn within sixty days after the scheduled closing. Question Deadline 03/30/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Milling, asphalt wearing courses, and bituminous base repair in accordance with Borough Specifications (attached) and PennDOT 408 Specifications, latest edition thereof.
