Sealed Bids for the UV Disinfection Installation Project will be received online via the Program. The project includes the construction of two parallel UV channels and associated building, installation of UV disinfection equipment and appurtenances, and modifications to the existing wastewater treatment plant flow meter pit. The entire project will be awarded to one Contractor. A certified check or bank draft payable to the Municipal Authority of the Borough of Ringtown or a satisfactory Bid Bond in the amount of 10% of the Total Bid must be submitted with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bonds, each in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price. Bidders must pay no less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Contract Documents and ensure non-discrimination in employment. Compliance with the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and the Public Works Employment Verification Act is required. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and qualification checks, and the Owner reserves the right to waive informality or reject any or all bids.
