Renovation of a museum in Washington, District of Columbia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a museum.
Develop the initial concept plan and design for the inaugural exhibitions of the National Museum of the American Latino, creating innovative and immersive exhibition experiences that recognize the accomplishments, history, and culture of Latino communities. Work includes producing exhibition concepts that integrate objects, images, and multimedia within large-scale museum environments and collaborating with diverse personnel such as content developers, architects, curators, scientists, educators, evaluations staff, design coordinators, writers, collections managers, facility managers, engineers, media producers, museum technical staff, and exhibit fabricators. At least one prior exhibition must have been fabricated and completed, with others allowed to be in fabrication. Only the prime contractor's experience may be used to satisfy the minimum requirements. Registration in SAM is required no later than August 15, 2026. Installation budget of one hundred million ($100,000,000) to one hundred and thirty million ($130,000,000). Significant questions pertaining to the RFP must be submitted no later than April 13, 2026, 9:00 am EST.
