The Confederated Tribes of the Colville Reservation (CTCR) Anadromous Fisheries Division seeks proposals from qualified engineering firms for engineering and design services to support salmon and steelhead habitat improvement projects on Omak Creek, a tributary to the Okanogan River in Okanogan County, Washington. The contract involves site investigation and restoration plan completion for habitat restoration actions on CTCR owned lands, specifically for development of a stream habitat improvement project through final design on Omak Creek from RM 6.5-11. The selected contractor will be provided with lidar data for the project reach. The area has experienced frequent wildfires and past railroad activity that have resulted in low wood densities and a simplified, incised stream channel. The goal is to reverse these impacts.
