Site work and new construction of an industrial development in Nespelem, Washington. Completed plans call for the construction of a 5,000-square-foot industrial development.
The Confederated Tribe of the Colville Reservation is seeking scope of work and budget proposals for the construction of a steelhead kelt recondition facility. The construction site is located at the St. Mary's acclimation facility off North Omak Lake road near Omak, Washington. The contractor must be able to construct the kelt facility starting in June and complete it no later than December. There is a 30% construction design that outlines the location of kelt tanks, pipes, and related infrastructure within an existing steelhead juvenile acclimation facility. The current facility is a 50' x 100' steel building with a gravel floor, two garage door openings, LED lights, humidity-controlled ventilation, and two 20' fiberglass circular tanks capable of holding up to 20,000 juvenile hatchery steelhead. Water is supplied from a well and surface sources, mixed in a settling pond, and pumped from an outside building into tanks via underground pipe. Tank drains for both water and fish are piped separately underground, draining directly into Omak Creek.
