Project No: 80109938 Skagit Regional Health is requesting electronic bids from contractors to perform, for a stipulated sum, the work specified in the contract documents for the Skagit Valley Hospital Kitchen Remodel. All bids must be submitted based on the contract documents and include a price proposal (with add alternates) and a proposed construction schedule. Each bid must be accompanied by the following completed documents: proposed construction schedule, bidder's statement of responsibility form, bidder's statement of relevant experience form, documented experience in commercial kitchen work within the previous five years, authorization to release information form, and a subcontractor list. Bid security not less than five percent of the bid amount is required. No substitution requests will be accepted during the bid process beyond 10 calendar days prior to bid opening. Skagit Regional Health reserves the right to reject all bids and waive any informality in the proposals. Free access to project bid documents is provided online for prime bidders, subcontractors, and vendors. All bids must be submitted electronically by the specified deadline; no mailed, faxed, or hand-delivered bids will be accepted. Incomplete bids and those received after the deadline will not be considered. After opening, Skagit Regional Health will review qualifications of the apparent lowest bidder and may request an interview. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder who meets all published responsibility criteria. If the lowest bidder is not deemed responsible, the next lowest will be considered.
