Demolition, site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Renton, Washington. Completed plans call for the demolition of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Invitation to bid for the Renton High School Replacement Phase 1: MACC 01 - Main Construction Bid Group 1. The scopes of work include: - BP 02A - Demolition - BP 21A – Fire Protection - BP 31A – Earthwork & Utilities - BP 31D – Phase 1 Asphalt & Striping - BP 32B – Early Work Site Concrete - BP 32C – Phase 1 Landscape Sealed bids are required for construction subcontracts related to these scopes of work. Deliver sealed bids to the specified location. Bids must be received no later than the specific due times for each bid package. Late bids will not be considered. A non-mandatory, yet highly encouraged pre-bid conference and site walk will be held. Contract documents can be obtained online through Building Connected and Builder's Exchange of Washington. Questions during the bid period must be submitted in writing to Skanska USA Building, Inc. All questions and answers will be published via addenda. Do not direct questions to the Architect/Engineer or School District. The project aims to maximize participation by small business entities and disadvantaged business enterprises, including MWBEs. Skanska plans to obtain a Retention Bond, and subcontractors may participate in lieu of standard retention. Skanska reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive non-material informalities. Bidders may withdraw proposals by written request before bid opening.
