Argos Community Schools will receive bids for the Elementary Patio Area. Bids must be filed on the required non-collusion affidavit, properly signed and executed as evidence of financial responsibility, and submitted with either a bond, money order, cashier's check, or certified check for five percent (5%) of the bid amount, made payable to Argos Community Schools. Facsimile delivered bid forms will not be accepted. All bids must comply with applicable laws. The Argos School Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to accept the lowest responsible and responsive bid, not necessarily the lowest bid, or to accept bids on one or more separate items. The Work includes removal of existing asphalt, concrete and gravel areas where indicated to allow for construction of new concrete walks and pavement areas. 2. New work will include installation of new reinforced concrete walks, patio areas including related earthwork preparation and compacted granular base. 3. New work will also include earthwork to remove existing soils, granular materials and asphalt pavements to allow for backfill of new suitable soils, along with finish grading and seeding work for all disturbed areas around new concrete walks and patio.
