Sealed bids are requested for HVAC Controls Replacement at the Third Circuit Court of Appeal in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Complete electronic bidding documents are available without charge or deposit from Associated Design Group, Inc. All bids must include bid security equal to five percent (5.0%) of the total bid amount and all alternates, in the form specified in the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder must provide a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will be accepted only from contractors licensed in the mechanical classification under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192. Bidders must comply with LA R.S. 38:2212(B)(5). No bid can be withdrawn for forty-five (45) days after receipt except as per LA. R.S. 38:2214. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids for just cause. Award of the contract is contingent upon the availability of funds, with no obligation to the contractor until the contract is fully executed. Facility Planning and Control supports participation in the Small Entrepreneurship (Hudson Initiative) and the Veteran-Owned and Service-Connected Disabled Veteran-Owned (LaVet) Small Entrepreneurships Program.
