The Department of Fish and Game, through its Division of Fisheries and Wildlife, invites sealed bids for the wetland and ecological restoration of the former Mill Brooks Bogs of Freetown, MA. This project consists of removal of man-made dikes, berms, and water control structures, approximately 6 inches of the sand layer on the bog surface, filling of bog ditches, roughening and uncompacting of the bog surface, installation of woody debris and rock features, and miscellaneous work in accordance with the bid documents.
