As of April 29, 2026, construction is underway. A couple bid packages may still be released in late 2026. Skanska is soliciting interested subcontractors, including certified Small, Veteran, Minority, and Woman owned Business Enterprises, for the I-405/Brickyard to SR 527 Improvement Project, specifically for Painting and Coating at BRT Stations. All relevant project information including plans and specifications can be found in the provided documents and through BuildingConnected. Participation goals are set at 5% SBE, 3% VOB, 10% MBE, and 6% WBE. Bidders are asked to submit their proposals through BuildingConnected, indicating their business enterprise status and any lower tier SBE/VOB/MBE/WBE participation included in their proposal, as these will be evaluated with price for best value. Skanska may assist qualified subcontractors, vendors, and suppliers with bonding, lines of credit, insurance, necessary equipment, materials, and/or supplies. Skanska may also consider breaking out scope packages and adjusting schedules to maximize participation of SBE/VOB/MBE/WBE firms. Subcontractors may be required to furnish a bond, with Skanska paying the bond premium up to 1% if required.
