The work involves the replacement of Alcott Elementary School and includes the following bid packages: Demolition, Unit Masonry, Casework and Finish Carpentry, Metal Panels/Siding/Flashing, Roofing, Curtainwall/Storefront/Glazing, Framing and GWB, Acoustical Ceilings and Treatments, Resilient and Carpet Flooring, Resilient Athletic Flooring, Tile Flooring, Painting Coatings and Sealants, and Landscaping and Irrigation. Bidders must provide a bid bond amounting to 5% of the base bid for bids exceeding $300,000, and payment and performance bonds are required for all bid packages $300,000 or greater. All bids must be submitted in a sealed format at the specified location and time, following the instructions to bidders. Electronic or improperly formatted bids will not be accepted. Bids must remain valid for 90 calendar days.
