Southeastern Pennsylvania Transportation Authority (SEPTA) will accept sealed bids through its Electronic Procurement System (ePS) website for the supply and delivery of 750V switchgear as outlined in the contract documents. All bids must be submitted through SEPTA’s ePS system; mailed or hand-delivered bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened electronically at the specified date and time and will remain secure and unreadable by SEPTA until that time. Each bid must remain firm for at least ninety (90) days from the bid opening date and cannot be withdrawn during that period. Bidders must direct all inquiries in writing and at least eight (8) calendar days before the bid opening for any consideration of changes, modifications, or clarifications. SEPTA reserves the right to reject any or all bids in its best interest. The contract will require compliance with all applicable Equal Employment Opportunity laws and regulations, certification of compliance with Executive Order 12549, and is subject to financial assistance from the U.S. Department of Transportation. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, sex, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
