**As of April 2nd, 2026, this project has not yet been awarded.The project is expected to be awarded on April 10, 2026.** The Town of Hebron and Regional School District 8 are soliciting proposals from building construction-related testing and inspection firms to provide oversight, inspection, and testing for Phase 1 of the RHAM Emergency Electrical Generator Upgrade Project at the Middle and High Schools campus. The contractor's work includes excavation, installation of electrical conduits, backfill and pavement patching within parking areas, and the excavation and installation of a reinforced concrete pad. The testing and inspection firm's responsibilities include verifying that compaction of backfill material meets requirements, ensuring imported backfill material complies with approved gradation analysis, confirming the concrete excavation bottom is suitable to support the pad and generator, inspecting reinforcing steel rebar placement according to structural drawings, and testing concrete for slump and compressive strength. Services are to be provided on an as-needed, on-call basis, and proposals must include both half-time and full-time rates. Bidders must submit a sealed proposal with one signed original, five printed copies, and an electronic version on a flash drive, all in hard copy format.
