The Board of Education is soliciting bids from responsible and qualified contractors to provide construction services for demolition of the existing loading dock and construction of a new loading dock and related improvements at RHAM High School. The Work, generally, consists of: 1. Mobilization of all necessary personnel, tools and equipment; preparation of the Project Site; temporary facilities or work practices as shown on the Drawings, as called for in the Specifications, and as required to complete the Work including, but not necessarily limited to, administrative facilities, fencing, erosion and sedimentation controls and related facilities. At the conclusion of Work restore and stabilize affected areas and fully demobilize all temporary facilities, equipment, and materials; 2. Selective Demolition: Demolish and completely remove the existing loading dock and concrete pavement as shown on the Drawings and as called for in the Specifications. Provide for the off-site removal and legal disposal of all demolition waste; 3. Loading Dock Construction: Provide for the installation of required footings, foundations, reinforcing steel, fill materials, concrete ramp and railings, concrete loading dock and concrete stairs and railings. Provide for connection to existing electrical feeds for trash compactor and powered dock leveler. Install dock equipment/appurtenances such as bumpers, powered dock leveler, and steel bollards; 4. Pavement Installation: Provide for the installation of concrete pavement at the locations indicated on the Drawings and as called for in the Specifications, including required earthwork, grading, base materials, compaction, concrete placement, finishing and curing, and pavement markings; 5. Wall Restoration: Provide for the restoration of concrete and brick walls including inspection, cleaning, selective brick replacement, re-pointing, parging and sealer installation as shown on the Drawings and as called for in the Specifications.
