Renovation of a municipal facility in Hebron, Connecticut. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

The Project primarily consists of remediation activities and capping of portions of the site. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bids shall be on a lump sum and unit price basis as indicated in the Bid Form. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond in the amount of five percent of the Bid. The successful Bidder will be required to provide Performance and Payment Bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent of the Contract Price. The project is funded by the State of Connecticut. The successful Bidder shall comply with the requirements of Prevailing Wage Rate Laws in accordance with Section 31-53 of the Connecticut General Statutes. This contract is subject to state contract compliance requirements, including nondiscrimination statutes and spending allocation goals. There is $ 368,280 in state-funding for this project. State law requires project-specific goals be set for this project based on the project's needs and available Small Business Enterprises ("SBEs") and Minority Business Enterprises ("MBEs"). The SBE goal for this project is 9.26%. The MBE goal for this project is 5.56%. The selected contractor must demonstrate good faith effort to meet the spending allocation goals. Unless provided for by the Instructions to Bidders, no Bid may be withdrawn until sixty (60) days after the Bid Opening. The Town reserves the right to: reject any or all Bids; waive informalities or defects in Bids; make extensions to review Bids; and accept the Bid(s) that, in the Town's judgment, will be in its best interests.
