Tree planting services for approximately 820,226 Government-furnished seedlings, carried out to ensure tree survival and growth across designated units within the Detroit Ranger District. Develop and execute a complete plan of operation, providing all labor, supervision, technical expertise, equipment, transportation, operating supplies, permits, and credentials necessary to perform the work in an organized, systematic, and safe manner. Perform all planting according to georeferenced maps, with the contractor supplying compatible GPS devices and any flagging required for boundary identification. Incorporate walk-in distances into unit pricing, and navigate varying site conditions including snow, mud, slides, or inaccessible roads. Use only handheld motorized equipment off designated roads unless otherwise approved. Complete work within the required performance window, accounting for weather and terrain limitations.
