Site work for a water / sewer project in Niagara Falls, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Contract 2 involves the replacement of an existing 20-inch water main with a new 16-inch or 14-inch water main including installation of valves, hydrants, appurtenances, and restoration. Bids will be received for one prime contract. Bidders must comply with American Iron & Steel Compliance (AIS), a Minority Women & Business Owned Business enterprises goal of 30%, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Businesses goal of 6%, New York State certified MBE participation goal of 10%, and WBE goal of 20%. Bidders are required to comply with relevant executive orders and state finance law, provide bid security of at least 5% of the bid, and furnish performance and payment bonds each in the amount of 100% of the contract. The Owner is exempt from sales and use taxes. All bids must be accompanied by the contractor's Certificate of Registration and a non-collusive bidding certificate. Bids shall be binding for sixty days. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities. Only written Requests For Information will be accepted until the stated deadline. Only bidders obtaining documents through the designated website are eligible to submit bids.
