Site work and paving for a road / highway in Pottsville, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

2026 Bituminous Seal Coat :- Approximately 90,423 square yards of Double Bituminous Seal Coat. Contractor is to place a Double Bituminous Seal Coat using a Polymer Modified Emulsion, CRS-2PM (E-3M) or RS-2PM (E-2M) with an initial application of #8 Aggregate with a 1.0% Loss by Wash followed by a second application of cover aggregate using #9 Aggregate, #9M Aggregate or AS2 Antiskid aggregate with a maximum Loss by Wash of 1.2% as per Pub. 447, Section MS-0340-0005. All material to be complete in place in conformance with the applicable sections of PENNDOT Pub. 408, Section 470 or PennDOT Pub 447. All materials must meet PennDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. Bidders must be PennDOT prequalified and supply proof of prequalification. Proposals must be on forms provided by the Township. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond for 10% of the total bid. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond for 100% of the awarded contract amount within 20 days of award. The Township reserves the right to accept or reject proposals or portions thereof, delete projects or portions depending on budgetary constraints, and waive any technicalities in the best interest of the Township. COmpletion- August 31, 2026.
