The work consists of furnishing all labor, equipment, tools, materials, parts, service, and supervision necessary to properly provide tree removal and maintenance services on a time and materials basis. Work may be performed along the Agency’s water canal system or other areas with limited or no vehicle access. The Contractor shall provide consultation, scheduled and unscheduled/emergency services throughout the Agency’s water system in Placer County, CA, which spans from the City of Rocklin to Alta along the I-80 corridor. There may also be one-off tree work within the Agency’s Power System on an as-needed basis, located in Foresthill and spanning out to French Meadows and Hell Hole reservoirs within the Tahoe and Eldorado National Forests. All proposals must be submitted on Agency forms in accordance with the Request for Proposal Documents. The Contractor shall possess a valid State of California Class C-61 / D-49 contractor’s license in good standing. No proposer or subcontractor may be listed on a bid for a public works project unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. Any resulting contract is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the DIR. The Agency reserves the right to negotiate and award a contract to the most qualified proposer(s), to award multiple contracts, to reject any and all proposals, to waive informalities, and to reject nonconforming, non-responsive, non-responsible, or conditional proposals. The Contractor shall give all notices necessary in connection with the performance of the contract, secure and pay for all necessary licenses and permits, and comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, and regulations.
