Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Burlingame, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The work consists of street base failure and resurfacing on various city streets and Parking Lot G within the city limits. The activities include asphalt concrete "dig-out" repairs, asphalt concrete overlay, surface milling, curb and gutter repair, sidewalk replacement, driveway replacement, valley gutters, storm drain improvements, traffic markings and striping, traffic control, concrete base repair, and other related works. All bids must be submitted electronically before the specified deadline. The Contractor must possess a Class A license prior to submitting a bid. A bid bond of 10% is required, as well as payment and performance bonds at 100% each. The total project work must be completed within seventy (70) working days from the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages are set at $3,000 per day for delays exceeding the allowed duration. As per ITB, Any questions regarding this project should be submitted through the online Q&A feature of PB System. Questions can be submitted until 2:00 P.M. on Thursday, April 9, 2026.
