Description

The project consists of cutting, trimming, removing and discarding all overgrown foliage and accumulated debris from 89 utility easements throughout the city to ensure a clear access path for city work crews to access underground utilities in those easements. The contractor will be required to provide these services annually between April 1 and June 15 for the duration of the project. The project will be awarded to the contractor with the lowest total price for the requested services. The contractor must possess a Class C-27 license prior to bidding and prevailing wage rates must be paid for all associated work. Contractors must be fully familiar with all instructions, provisions, conditions and specifications in the bid documents. Only contractors and subcontractors registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5 may be listed in the bid proposal. All contractors and subcontractors must furnish electronic certified payroll records directly to the Labor Commissioner.
