The City of Fernley is soliciting Statements of Qualifications from qualified firms or individuals to provide professional engineering design services for the expansion of the East Wastewater Treatment Plant (EWWTP) in Fernley, Nevada. The project includes the abandonment of existing waste stabilization ponds, design and specification of new sequencing batch reactors, design of onsite chlorine generation systems, and design to accommodate both existing and future buildout demands. Additional services include technical assistance with loan and grant opportunities. The selected firm will provide complete engineering services, including developing design documents, supporting regulatory compliance, permitting, and overseeing bidding and construction to ensure the completion of the wastewater treatment project. Each qualified proposer shall submit a Statement in accordance with the requirements and schedule outlined in the RFQ.
