Construct approximately 700 linear feet of new 8-inch PVC C900 water main from the existing 12-inch water main in Mesa Drive to the point of connection with the existing 8-inch water main from the water treatment plant interior fire loop. The existing 8-inch main from the plant fire loop to the future point of connection will be retired in place. The proposed 8-inch main will be located within Mesa Drive (City of Fernley right-of-way) and City of Fernley property (along the north bank of the TCID ditch and immediately outside of the TCID ditch easement). The water main will cross under the TCID ditch easement in a 16-inch steel carrier pipe. For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Prevailing wage rates for Lyon County shall be posted on the work site and paid to all classifications of labor as required by the laws of the State of Nevada. Est.
