Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in New Albany, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; road / highway; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and road / highway.
The project consists of pavement rehabilitation, curb replacement, sidewalk and curb ramp replacement, driveway replacement, and other appurtenant work associated with these improvements to various streets throughout the city. Bids are to be submitted on the forms furnished within the contract document project manual with the required bond and/or check, properly executed in accordance with the directions contained in the Instructions to Bidders. The Contract will be awarded on the basis of the lowest responsive, responsible bid and the criteria defined in the Bid Form and Instructions to Bidders. The Board of Public Works and Safety reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informality or technicality in any bid. April 2nd, 2026 – By 12:00pm EST all comments and questions are due to the engineer in WRITING (email to nick.pierce@clarkdietz.com). The City will not be answering any questions directly. Any questions after that date may not be addressed. April 2nd, 2026 – By end of day Engineer will issue addendum (via Lynn Imaging ePlanroom) to all plan holders addressing all comments and questions. Pre-Bid Meeting Minutes will also be included in addendum. Substantial Completion – Work shall be ready for its intended use no later than September 30th, 2026. Final Completion – Work shall be ready for final payment no later than October 30th, 2026.
