Renovation of an educational facility in New Albany, Indiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.

Qualified contractors are invited to submit a sealed offer for the S. Ellen Jones 2026 Facility Improvements at 600 E. 11th Street, New Albany, Indiana 47150. Bids are to be received at the Facilities Services office before 2:00 pm local standard time on June 3, 2026, and will be opened and read publicly at that time and location. The project will be bid as a single prime contract. Plans and specifications are available in electronic PDF format from LMH Architecture. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or acceptable bidder's surety bond, made payable to New Albany-Floyd County Consolidated School Corporation, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. This security guarantees that the bidder will execute the contract within ten (10) days if awarded, and provide acceptable surety bonds. Failure to do so allows the owner to award the contract to the most responsive and responsible bidder and forfeit the security. Bid forms must be submitted on Contractor's Bid for Public Bidding Form No. 96, as prescribed by the State Board of Accounts for Indiana, along with the included Bid Form. Bids may not be withdrawn for thirty (30) calendar days after the closing. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any defects or irregularities. Bidders must observe conditions of employment and minimum wage rates under the contract and comply with Indiana antidiscrimination law. Contract Scope: Construction, demolition, and facility operations during occupancy. The Project consists of a partial replacement of the existing exterior windows, partial replacement of the existing non-LED lighting fixtures, and partial replacement of existing acoustic lay-in ceiling grid and tile system.
