The City of Bowling Green, Ohio is seeking qualifications from engineering firms for the South College Water Main Replacement Project. The City intends to contract with one design firm to perform necessary surveying and engineering services to prepare construction drawings and technical specifications for the project. The selected firm may also provide technical assistance during construction, but the City will handle project bidding, construction administration, and observation. This project involves replacing approximately 4,000 linear feet of existing 6” water main with new 8” water main and appurtenances along South College Drive between Wooster Street and Napoleon Road. It also includes replacing connections to intersecting streets, conducting geotechnical borings at a maximum spacing of 400’ to determine depth of rock, and full-width pavement replacement of South College Drive and intersections within the project limits. Engineering firms interested in providing the required services should submit a Statement of Qualifications by the specified deadline. Submissions must include a brief history of the firm, key personnel resumes, relevant recent project experience, a description of the scope of work anticipated for this project with an estimated design timeline, and any further information helpful for qualification evaluation. Firms must adhere to all specified requirements for submission and provide appropriate insurance coverage prior to contract execution.
