SEALED BIDS for the furnishing of the necessary materials and construction of the WOO-TR207 CONNEAUT SIDEWALK PID # 122855 will be received. This project includes the installation of approximately 3,650 linear feet of sidewalk from Cedar Lane to North Wintergarden Road. Only ODOT pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids. Pre-qualification status must be in force at the time of bid, at the time of award, and through the life of the construction contract. All bids shall be signed and submitted on the blanks which are bound in the specifications. Bid blanks shall not be removed from the specifications. Bid shall state the unit prices on the blanks provided and shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope marked WOO-TR207 CONNEAUT SIDEWALK PID #122855 and addressed to the Municipal Administrator. Each bid must contain the name of every interested person, firm, or corporation and be accompanied by a bid guaranty; either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond for 100% of the bid, or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit in the amount of 10% of the bid. If awarded the contract, a Contract Bond for 100% payment and performance is required. The successful bidder must submit an affidavit regarding delinquent personal property taxes. Bids received after the scheduled opening date and time or not accompanied by a satisfactory bid guaranty will not be considered. The successful bidder and all subcontractors must comply with the provisions of the Ohio Revised Code, Chapter 4115, and will be required to enter a separate Public Improvement Agreement with the owner prior to the execution of contract documents. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. The right is reserved to reject any and all bids, to waive any irregularity in any bid, and to determine the lowest and best bidder.
