In general, the work consists of grouting and cured-in-place lining of approximately 1,650 feet of existing 18-inch and 900 feet of existing 12-inch sanitary sewer mains. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided, must include the names of every person or company interested, and be accompanied by either a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid with satisfactory corporate surety, or a certified check on a solvent bank in the amount of not less than 10% of the bid, subject to conditions in the instructions. The successful bidder will need to furnish satisfactory Performance Bond and Maintenance and Guarantee Bond in the amount of 100% of the bid. The contractor must pay not less than the prevailing state wage rates established by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division. Any bid may be withdrawn prior to the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids, but no bidder may withdraw their bid within 90 days after the opening. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and accept any bid deemed most favorable to the owner.
