The project consists of work defined within a Base Bid and an Additive Bid. In general and in total, the project includes but is not limited to the following: installation of new 12 to 18-inch nominal diameter PVC gravity sewer main within an existing and active sewer alignment via open cut construction within existing right-of-way, with sewer service maintained throughout construction via bypass pumping; installation of new 8-inch DIP potable water main to replace existing 8-inch AC water main; installation of new 10-inch DIP potable water main to replace existing 10-inch CI water main; replacement of 4 water gate valves; removal, disposal, replacement, and reconnection of 16 sanitary sewer manholes; removal, disposal, replacement, and reconnection of 9 stormwater catch basins; installation of 2 new curb ramps; installation of new 6-inch PVC storm drain laterals to replace existing storm drain laterals where impacted by gravity sewer main construction; demolition of existing sanitary sewer piping along the new gravity sewer alignment; demolition and replacement of various existing roadway and site features along the gravity sewer alignment; trench, roadway, and roadside restoration of the site. The work will be performed within City property including rights-of-way and easements. All questions regarding the plans and specifications shall be submitted no later than Tuesday, March 31st, 2026 by 5:00 pm PST, in writing or electronically to Lucio Baack, P.E. Project Manager, at Lbaack@cit-yofpa.us. The Engineers estimate is $3,200,000 $4,000,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. time of completion (performance. period) is 85 working days. The City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids not in compliance with all prescribed procedures and requirements, waive minor irregularities not affecting substantial rights and make the award as deemed to be in the best interest of the City, and may for good cause, reject any or all bids upon a finding of the City of Port Angeles that it is in the public interest to do so. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project.
