Bids will be received for Tenaya Middle School Portable Classroom Updates and Storage Enclosure. Work includes replacement and painting of fascia, removal of metal window coverings, painting, replacement and installation of tack board, lights, ceiling tiles, window treatments, carpet, white boards, installation of electrical/data/audio-video connections, new ramp, repair of exterior overhang, float/leveling of floor, replacement of upper fascia, removal of concrete, and fencing. It also includes construction of an enclosed storage area with stucco, textured drywall, light installation, and steel door, as well as installation of sidewalk, and tree removal and replacement. The contract time is 30 calendar days from Notice of Award. All bidders must prequalify through the Quality Bidders website. Bids must conform and be responsive to all pertinent Bidding and Contract Documents. Bids must be accompanied by a bidder’s bond, cashier’s check, or certified check for at least ten percent (10%) of the base bid and include required documents: Bid Form, Bid Bond Security, Designation of Subcontractors, Sufficient Funds Declaration, Non-Collusion Declaration, Iran Contracting Act Certification, Fingerprinting Notice and Acknowledgement, Workers’ Compensation Certificate, Drug-Free Workplace Certificate, Notice and Certification Regarding Russia-Related Sanctions, DVBE Certificate, and DVBE Prime Bidder Worksheet. The successful bidder must furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond, both for one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract Sum. Attendance at the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is required for bid consideration. Any contractor who fails to attend the entire conference will be deemed non-responsive and will have its bid returned unopened.
