CR#: 2133101 Summary of Work: Supply and Install New Chainlink Fence. Front and Rear of Home with Gates Supply and install chain link fence and gates. Submit a quote with a cost breakdown (materials, labor, and overhead) where applicable and include the list number. Attendance at a mandatory scheduled site visit is required before submitting a quote. Prevailing wages must be paid. Vendors and sub-contractors must be registered with NYS DOL and provide a copy of their certificate(s) with the quote. DESCRIPTION: Supply - Install New Insulated 9 Gauge Galvanized Chain Link Fence With Gates With All Hardware The Vendor to supply and install all Materials and Labor to complete the work in a professional manner according to scope of work and architectural drawings if supplied. Work is to be completed within 14 days of award, unless modified below. This is a NYS Public Works project, and prevailing wages are to be paid. Refer to attached specification for the following scope of work. Site must be cleaned, and all materials secured at the end of each workday. Absolutely no scraps, especially fasteners, are to be left unsecured. Upon completion of Kitchen Renovation, contractor is to schedule a quality control and quality assurance inspection with Plant Superintendent. Important: This NYS/OPWDD residential home is and will be occupied during construction work. All provisions must be made to minimize disruption and keep the home safe for occupants. No egress routes shall be blocked at any time. Materials and debris must be protected for safety. Contractor must comply with all applicable NYS codes. SCOPE OF WORK Includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: 1 Contractor shall verify the actual measurements and condition of work to be done to ensure a complete and accurate job. Contractor to supply all labor, material and equipment to complete work. 2 The work must not interfere with Induvial or house staff during Demolition stage of work while old fence removal is underway. 3 Remove existing Front chain-link fence, post, gates and all associated hardware in the front and rear of the home. 4 Remove existing rear chain link fence, post and associated hardware. 5 Supply and install new 6-foot chain-link fence in the rear of the home with all hardware and gates. 6 Supply and install new 4-foot chain-link fence in front of the home with all hardware and gates 7 All fence posts to be mounted in the soil according to NYS property code and cemented in for a solid bond. 8 Supply and install, privacy slats with a Grass finish. 9 Test and secure all newly installed fencing to ensure gates are operational and function properly, Contractor must inform BFDDSO immediately if any issue arises so proper action can be taken to completes the job. 10 The Color of the fence insulation to be discussed at the bid meeting. 11 All work performed must comply with manufacturers' specifications. 12 Caulk and seal all penetrations, crevices, and gaps where there are any openings with outdoor grade caulk for a proper clean finish. 13 All debris must be removed daily with nothing left on the property at the end of each workday. 14 All landscape; soil that's has been removed must be backfilled and left neat and aesthetic condition. 15 All chain link fencing is to be 9 gauge insulated with the color chosen at the site visit 16 Any addendums will be made at the site visit and recorded for all contractors if changes arise. 17 Contractor is to supply a Three-year warranty on all work. All debris must be removed daily. Winning bidders quote shall be valid for 60 days from day winning bid has been received. All work must not interfere with day-to-day operation. Contractor to provide 1 million in insurance liability coverage. Any addendums will be made and recorded at the SV Question Deadline 04/17/2026 Any vendor questions not asked during the site visit must be submitted in writing to: Brooklyn.CMM.Bids@opwdd.ny.gov
