Sealed bids are invited for a Unit Price Job Order contract to perform interior re-painting of condominium type apartments with owner-provided paint on an "as needed" basis. The work will take place in the University Village (comprising West Village and East Village Apartments) in Albany and will involve complete and partial re-painting of interior townhouse type apartments that are unoccupied during apartment turnovers, estimating 3-4 apartments per week during summer turnover and continuing into the fall. All work must use owner-provided paint. The total cost for all Job Orders issued will not exceed $700,000 during the 1-year Base Term, and $700,000 during each 1-year Option Term, with a maximum contract value of $2,100,000 for 3 years. The cost of individual Job Order Authorizations will range from $4,500 to $50,000. Refer to Exhibit 21 for excluded work. Each bidder must submit a Contractor’s Special Statement of Experience on their letterhead, including documentation of at least three and no more than five comparable interior re-painting projects completed in the past five years, each with a construction value of $400,000 or greater, within the immediate nine Bay Area counties. For each project, the submission must include: project name, address, owner’s name, contract value at award, total Change Order value, completion date, Owner’s Representative email and current phone number, and a description of how the project is comparable to the one being bid. List all interior re-painting on all UC Campuses and National Labs within the last five years. Inaccurate or incomplete information, or negative project references, may cause disqualification.
