The Office for People With Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) is soliciting sealed bids from responsible and qualified contractors to perform required work for Bathroom Alterations for Springbrook 3 at 4346 County Road 32, Oxford, NY 13830 in Chenango County. Contractors should carefully examine and be familiar with the Drawings, Specifications, and the Project Manual including all Bidding, Contracting, and General Requirement Specification Documents. Bidders are strongly urged to attend the site visit to take field measurements and examine existing conditions of the project area. It is the responsibility of the bidder to know the site requirements based upon the work being requested. The commencement and completion of work for this project shall be per the Specifications, Section 011000 Summary of the Work. A bid security deposit is required. The selected low bidder will be responsible for providing mandatory pre-award submittal documentation including Vendor Responsibility Questionnaire (CCA-2), references and experience, list of proposed subcontractors, detailed estimate, and proof of required insurances. Prevailing wages will apply. Contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the New York State Department of Labor under Labor Law Section 220-i. Failure to submit this form correctly will result in a disqualification of the bid. Restricted Period Pursuant to State Finance Law 139-j and 139-k, this solicitation includes and imposes certain restrictions on communications between OPWDD D&C CMU and a bidder during the procurement process.
