Wetumka Municipal Authority will receive and open sealed bids for the supply of materials only for Water Treatment Plant improvements, including clarifier equipment, chemical feed equipment, filter equipment, valves, pumps, and flow meters. All work and materials supplied must conform to the plans and specifications prepared by Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC. Compliance with Labor Standards Contract Provisions is required, and if the total project cost exceeds $10,000,000, compliance with the Davis Bacon Act is also required. Bidders must submit their bids with a certified or cashier’s check from a solvent Oklahoma bank or a bidder’s bond for five percent of the bid amount as a guarantee of performance and intent to enter into a contract and furnish required bonds. Construction, Maintenance, and Statutory Payment Bonds in the amount of 100% of the contract price are required and must be from a Corporate Surety licensed in Oklahoma. The Maintenance Bond will guarantee the repair of all damage due to improper materials or workmanship for one year after acceptance of the work. Bidders must include a sworn statement that they have not entered into collusive agreements regarding bid prices or contract shares. The project is financed by the ARPA grant program through the Oklahoma Water Resources Board and must comply with Equal Opportunity in Employment and the requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency’s Disadvantaged Business Enterprise program, including following good faith efforts to solicit disadvantaged business enterprises.
