Renovation of an educational facility in Shreveport, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the Westwood Restroom Renovations, Project No. 2027-244. Complete bidding documents may be obtained upon payment and are required for all prime bidders. A Louisiana licensed contractor with a major classification in building construction is required. Bid security equal to five percent of the total bid must be attached, and the successful bidder must provide a performance bond equal to one hundred percent of the contract amount. Liquidated damages of $350 per day will be assessed for work not completed by the established completion date. Bidders must not withdraw bids for forty-five days after opening. A good faith effort to utilize 25% small and economically disadvantaged businesses is encouraged. Attendance at a mandatory pre-bid conference by a knowledgeable representative is a precondition for eligibility to bid. Prospective bidders must attend and remain for the duration of the conference or they will be prohibited from bidding.
