Renovation of an educational facility in Ghent, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 93,000-square-foot educational facility.
The project consists of renovation work to the existing New River Community and Technical College Advanced Technology Center (ATC) in Ghent, approximately 93,000 square feet in size, mainly constructed with pre-engineered metal building components. The scope includes exterior painting, new signage, addition of an entry vestibule, replacement of metal panels and overhead doors, parking and paving improvements, minor interior repairs due to vestibule and storefront additions at the front entry, and security upgrades such as cameras and gate access. All work includes labor, material, equipment, supplies, and transportation. Bidders must submit proposals in accordance with the Bidding Documents provided by the Architect and on the specified Form of Proposal. Attendance at the pre-bid meeting is mandatory for all bidders to familiarize themselves with the project site and conditions. Bids must be delivered in sealed form to the specified address by the deadline, following the instructions for delivery. Late or electronically transmitted bids will not be accepted. The bidder, if awarded the contract, must complete all required contract documents and return them within ten days of notification of intent to award. All work must begin from the date of Notice to Proceed and reach Substantial Completion within the specified contract time, with Final Completion within 30 days after that. Liquidated damages apply for delays in completion, and all applicable laws, rules, and regulations must be followed. Question Deadline 05/11/2026 at 5:00 PM ET as per Adda 5
