Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Westchester, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work includes new 12” and 8” PVC water main installation, construction of lateral WMQ storm sewers, abandoning the existing water main, water service box removal and replacement, valve vaults, fire hydrants, lead service replacement into the home, storm and sanitary sewer spot repairs, various roadway resurfacing treatments, and all necessary restoration. Special requirements include a focus on the Cook County CDBG Grant for water main improvements on Portsmouth Avenue from Roosevelt to Gladstone, with the Contractor providing 24% MBE and 10% WBE participation for this portion. All CDBG funds for the Portsmouth Avenue work must be expended by September 30, 2026. No work can begin until May 1, 2026 unless otherwise authorized by the Village in writing. Bidders must purchase bid documents and be listed on the Bidder’s Planholder List to submit a bid. Bids from firms not on this list will be rejected.
