The work includes furnishing materials, tools, equipment, and labor necessary for the construction of HOPEWELL ROAD IMPROVEMENTS, STP-9901(674) in St. Charles County, Missouri. The project involves all work incidental to the construction of approximately 5,500 linear feet of roadway, including a roundabout intersection, asphalt pavement, non-reinforced concrete pavement, curb and gutter, concrete islands/medians, concrete sidewalks, asphalt trails, storm sewer improvements, and other appurtenances. Each bid must be accompanied by a Cashier's Check, Certified Check, or a Bid Bond in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the total base bid. All labor must be paid at least the prevailing hourly wage as established by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations, or state wage rate, whichever is higher. All contractors and subcontractors must comply with Safety Program Training requirements and meet MoDOT requirements as a contractor at least seven days before bid opening. A Performance Bond and Payment and Materials Bond are required. The project will be awarded to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
