Project: B151 Click Road Bridge Repair Aggregate Base, Erosion Control, Earth Excavation, HMA Surface Removal, Guardrail Salvage, Salvage Bridge Superstructure, Drive Pile, Reinstall Bridge Superstructure, Install Salvaged Guardrail, HMA Paving, Traffic Control and Slope Restoration. The bidder must examine the plans, specification, special provisions, related materials, as well as the location of the work, and should be fully informed as to the nature of the work and conditions relating to its performance, understanding that quantities are approximate and subject to change. The bidder proposes to furnish all necessary machinery, tools, equipment, and means of construction, perform all work, furnish all materials except as otherwise specified, and complete the work in strict conformity with the plans and the proposal, in accordance with the 2020 Standard Specifications for Construction, Michigan Department of Transportation, and all special and supplemental specifications included in the proposal. Bidders may be required to perform extra work as authorized by the Emmet County Road Commission, with compensation based on a prior agreement for any such work. All bids must be sealed and clearly marked with the project and project number. Mailed bids must be received by the specified time prior to opening. The Emmet County Road Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive irregularities or informalities. No contract shall exist until formally executed by both parties.
