Site work for a water / sewer project in Flat Rock, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The project involves the extension of a sanitary sewer across Telegraph Road in the City of Flat Rock, Michigan. The work includes removal of approximately 20 square yards of existing roadway and curbs; installation of approximately 20 square yards of 10-inch non-reinforced concrete pavement with integral curb and gutter on 8-inch MDOT 21AA aggregate base; furnishing and installation of approximately 100 linear feet of 8-inch PVC Truss sanitary sewer pipe and associated manholes; jacking and boring a new 20-inch steel casing approximately 150 linear feet; furnishing and installing approximately 150 linear feet of 8-inch ductile iron sanitary sewer inserted inside casing; installation of approximately two 6-inch PVC drop connections; and removal and replacement of approximately 500 square feet of 4-inch concrete sidewalk, along with all related items. Sealed bids must be submitted, labeled as specified, and accompanied by a completed Bid Bond, Certified Check, or Cashier's Check in a sum not less than five percent of the proposed amount. Bids must remain firm for ninety days following opening. The owner reserves the right to accept or reject any proposal, waive any irregularity, and make the award in any manner.
