Bids are invited for all materials, labor, tools, and services necessary to install the North Seashore Pump Station Improvements per the design shown on the Construction Plans and as described in the Contract Specifications. The project generally consists of rehabilitating the existing pump station by replacing pumps, valves, valve vault, electrical equipment, site work, installing guide rails, replacing the top of the wet well and access hatches, and associated work. A certified check, bank draft, U.S. Government bonds, or a satisfactory bid bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid. For bids exceeding $50,000, the bidder must indicate their Certificate of Responsibility Number on the outside of the sealed proposal as required by Mississippi law. For bids not exceeding $50,000, the bidder must either indicate the Certificate Number or clearly state 'Bid does not exceed $50,000.' The City of Long Beach, Mississippi, reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days for review and investigation of bidder qualifications before awarding the contract.
