The County of Sonoma is soliciting bids from qualified suppliers for Road Materials on an as-needed and emergency (disaster) basis, with the intent to issue two separate Blanket Purchase Order (BPO) agreements: one for Standard (Non-Disaster) usage with local preference in evaluation, and one for Emergency (Disaster) usage without local preference. All materials and services must conform to State of California Department of Transportation Standard Specifications 2015 and aggregate providers must be on the AB 3098 list from the California Office of Mine Reclamation. For the Emergency BPO, suppliers must be able to provide goods and equipment within twenty-four hours of request and have a quarry or yard within a one-hour drive of 575 Administration Dr., Santa Rosa, CA 95403. Bidders must complete and return the Road Materials Price Sheet or submit a Vendor Price Catalog with specified discount, indicating price per unit (ton) and specifying "no bid" where applicable. Prices must be for materials picked up by the County, but an optional delivery price may be provided. Awards may be issued to multiple suppliers by line item, aggregate, or best interest of the County, and compliance with federal contract provisions may be required. Bids must be submitted electronically via the County’s Supplier Portal and accompanied by required attachments, with specifications for documentation and instructions for participation and submission provided.
