The Leslie & Clearwater Lift Station Project consists of upgrades to the existing sewer lift station located at the northwest corner of the intersection of Leslie and Clearwater. The existing lift station has been in service since the 1990s and is comprised of a wet well and confined space drywell housing the suction lift pumps. The project scope of work includes refurbishing and coating of the existing wet well structure, installation of 2 new submersible wet well pumps, modifying the existing confined space drywell into a new valve vault, electrical and control upgrades, and other civil site improvements. All bid proposals shall be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such bid proposal. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the specifications, the bid proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Kennewick. The City of Kennewick reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids.
