As of May 21, 2026 project was awarded to J.W. Cheatham, LLC, awarded amount is $1,359,233.15 The work consists of constructing a ten-foot shared use path on the south side of Fairchild Avenue and a buffered five-foot bike lane on the north side of the roadway. All work must be conducted within the Fairchild Avenue right-of-way, spanning from Fairchild Gardens Avenue to Campus Drive in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, and must adhere to the terms, conditions, and specifications established by the project under the Florida Department of Transportation Local Agency Program. Bidders must submit offers through the designated e-procurement platform. It is the responsibility of the contractor to ensure all relevant information is included in their offer, and contractors must carefully examine all requirements. Questions regarding the requirements must be submitted in writing via the e-procurement platform. The City of Palm Beach Gardens reserves the right to accept or reject any or all responses, in whole or in part, to waive any irregularities or technicalities, and to award the contract based on the terms and conditions deemed in the City's best interest.
