Remodeling of a multi-residential development in Athens, Georgia. Completed plans call for the remodel of a multi-residential development.
The Athens Housing Authority is seeking written proposals from licensed General Contractors or Plumbers to provide tub valve replacements, convert two-handle showers to one-handle, and add FRP surrounds in 155 bathrooms. Bids must be clearly marked on the sealed envelope, include a bid guarantee of five percent (5%) of the bid, and successful bidders must provide satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond(s) in the amount of 100% of the Contract Amount. All work must comply with current applicable HUD, state, and local standards, and all bidders must comply with equal employment and Section 3 requirements of the Federal Government.
